North Node in the 4th house

The north node is a direction of growth rather than a planet. In the 4th house it points inward and downward: home, family, private life and the emotional base that public achievement rests on. These people are often more practiced at career and standing than at being at ease indoors. The development asked for is unglamorous: a place to live that actually suits them, time given to family, and enough interior life that the outside role is not the whole of it.
