North Node in the 5th house

The north node describes a direction of development, not an influence acting on a person. In the 5th house it points toward what is done for its own sake: creative work, romance, children, play, and the risk of being personally visible in what gets made. These people often prefer the group, the cause or the collective to the singular. Putting a name to a piece of work and letting it be judged is the uncomfortable part, and the part that does the developing.
