Human Design Bodygraph

The bodygraph is the visual centerpiece of a Human Design chart: nine geometric shapes, the energy centers, joined by thirty-six channels. Each center is either defined, shown filled in, or undefined, shown white. Defined centers describe consistent energy a person generates reliably. Undefined centers describe where energy is taken in and amplified from the people nearby. The channels joining those centers are built from sixty-four gates, the same sixty-four archetypes the I Ching numbers and Gene Keys contemplates. A channel activates only when both of its gates are switched on, and an active channel is what connects two centers and defines them. Which centers end up defined is what produces the type and authority a reading returns. The pattern of definition separates a Manifestor from a Generator, a Manifesting Generator, a Projector or a Reflector, and the defined center sitting highest in the decision-making order sets the authority.
