Human Design Glossary
Center
One of nine energy hubs on the bodygraph. A defined (colored-in) center is a consistent trait; an open (white) center is where a person takes in and amplifies others' energy.
Channel
A consistent life-force connection formed when both gates at either end of it are defined, linking two centers into a fixed trait.
Human Design in Career
The Career lens includes Type, Authority, and Profile, because they describe how a person is built to take action and make decisions, which bears on what kind of work sustains them and what drains them.
